Return Policy for Quality Barware

At Quality Barware, owned by My Bar New Albany LLC, we strive to provide high-quality products and ensure customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are committed to finding a solution. Please review our return policy below to understand how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges.

Return Policy:

Notification and Return Window:

  • If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please notify us immediately at humanresources@qualitybarware.com. Due to the nature of glassware, any issues related to malfunction or breakage must be reported within three (3) days of receipt.

  • Customers have 14 days from the date of notification to return the product. For local deliveries, a member of our team will arrange to pick up the item. We guarantee that all locally delivered glassware is thoroughly quality-checked before it leaves our facility.

Condition of Returned Items:

  • All barware must be returned in an unused condition and can be either in its original open or unopened packaging. We understand that customers may need to open packages to inspect new items. As long as there is clear communication regarding the reason for the return, we will do our best to resolve the issue in the customer's favor.

Shipping Costs:

  • As a very small, local business just getting started, we ask customers to cover the shipping costs for returns. We appreciate your understanding as we make baby steps toward our bigger goals. This policy may change in the future, but for now, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

International Returns:

  • We currently do not accept international returns. Quality Barware operates strictly within the continental United States as of this writing. We are working towards international delivery, but it is approximately nine months away.

Refunds and Store Credit:

  • Refunds will always be processed back to the original method of payment. In certain cases, store credit may be issued to remedy any mishaps that occur during the purchasing process.

Damaged or Defective Items:

  • For items delivered locally, we guarantee they have been inspected and are ready for use commercially or residentially upon receipt. However, given the nature of our products, returns for damaged or defective items will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Some items may be replaced at no additional cost, while others may be eligible for a return.

  • Customers must provide proof, such as photos, of any damage before initiating the return process. This is required to start the return process.

Custom or Personalized Items:

  • Custom items, such as etched jiggers, Hawthorne strainers, shaking tins, etc., cannot be returned as they are made specifically for each customer’s unique requirements. Exceptions will be made if the item arrives damaged or incorrect.

Closeout Merchandise:

  • "Closeout merchandise" refers to any items in the store that are on sale. Quality Barware reserves the right to process returns of these items at its discretion.

Return Limits:

  • Customers are limited to a reasonable number of returns, as determined by Quality Barware. Excessive return activity may result in limitations or refusal of future returns.

Communication and Processing:

  • Customers should receive a response from our human resources department within 72 hours of submitting a return request. We will keep customers informed throughout the return process via email notifications, including confirmations of return receipt and refund processing.

Further Details:

  • Quality Barware is not responsible for any damage or loss of returned packages. We recommend insuring the returned package(s) through your carrier.

  • Quality Barware does not reimburse charges from third-party shippers, such as UPS Store, FedEx Office, or similar companies, beyond normal ground shipping costs. Do not send any items COD, as our returns department cannot accept COD returns.
